Before School Care
7:00am - Centre Opens

7:00 - 8:15am - Breakfast is served - toast, cereal, and seasonal fruit. Children eat breakfast in the Playroom and place bowls in the kitchen when finished.

7:30 - 8:00am - Outside opens - Free play on the Asphalt and/or another outside activity is available.
​
8:30am - Person in charge will call "Primaries" and children in years 3-6 collect their bags and line up to get signed out on the COLA. 2-3 educators walk the primary children to the 3-6 site and supervise until a teacher arrives at 8:45am.

8:30 - 8:45am - All K-2 children can continue playing until the bell at 8:45am.
​
8:45am - The same song is played each morning at bell time, reminding the children to pack away their activities and line up to get signed out of BASC to head to school.
After School Care
3:10pm - 1-2 educators collect the kindergarten children and guide them down to the centre to hang up their bags.

3:15pm - At bell time, children in Year 1 and 2 walk to the centre to get signed in. Children in Years 3-6 walk to the silver seats on the primary site to get signed in.
​
3:15 - 3:30pm - As children enter BASC, they put their bags away and wash their hands with soap. The children then line up in the Main Room for afternoon tea. The children eat outside on the silver seats with the educators. There are seasonal fruit and veggie platters and sandwiches for afternoon tea.

3:30pm - Once all children are accounted for, areas at BASC begin to open for activities, e.g. Asphalt, Yellow Equipment, Oval, Front Tables.

3:30 - 4pm - The Primaries walk down with the educators making their way to the K-2 site. Once they arrive, they put their bags down, wash their hands and are served afternoon tea. Afterwards they engage in the open areas and activities for play.
​
3:45 - 4pm - Programmed or spontaneous activities commence in a variety of areas and continue for the afternoon, usually finishing between 5:15pm - 5:45pm.
​
5:30 - 5:45pm - A movie is chosen by the children and is played for the remainder of the afternoon as educators close areas and clean up.
​
6:15pm - Centre closes.
